Gregory Zarzaur
Greg is a native of Birmingham. After graduating from John Carroll Catholic High School, Greg earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the varsity football team. Greg had the privilege of playing under Hall of Fame Coach Lou Holtz. Greg returned home to Alabama to earn his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While at Alabama, Greg was selected to represent the University as a member of its national trial team and earned the George Peach Taylor Award for Trial Advocacy. In the year after graduating from law school, Greg served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William McDermott, 13th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Since 2002 Greg’s law practice has focused primarily on representing individuals who have been injured or cheated. In his first civil jury trial, as the lead attorney, Greg obtained a $2.5 million dollar jury verdict against a life insurance company that had defrauded an elderly couple. Today, Greg has his own law firm (Zarzaur Law LLC) and is Of Counsel with Alexander Shunnarah Personal Injury Lawyers.
